The Fayette County Library has offered Free Little Libraries to any organization or individuals that are interested in adopting one, painting it in a theme of their choice and taking care of them when placed throughout the community. They are kept filled with books for children and adults. There have been 6 libraries put in place and 6 more to be placed soon. The library hopes that more will be adopted. Our Club adopted the one pictured and has been placed at Robert's Park. Our members monitor it on a regular basis to make sure it is in good repair and that it has a good supply of books.
